The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiks  Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Alpine Institute of Technology was established by Ujjain Shikshan Evam Shodh Samiti in 2007 at Ujjain (MP), the city of spleen did cultural heritage and famous Mahakaleshwar Temple.
